Briefing:
Hengqin Third Tunnel has a traffic superior location: north to South Hengqin Road, south to the town centre of Hengqin, connecting the Hengqin town centre and downtown area. In the future, the tunnel will be connected to Nan Wan express way which will further increase the impact on downtown area, west district like Jin Wan and Dou Men. The project consists of Hengqin Tunnel South Line, Hengqin Tunnel and Hengqin Tunnel North Line, with total length of 2.8km. Shield section of the tunnel is built in two ways with 6 lanes, about 2.2km in length.
